Student Focussed
"Don't look at me - look at my students." Your teacher could be the greatest player on the face of the planet, but if he can't teach YOU, then your lessons are a waste of time and money. That's why there's no exhaustive list of "I've played with everyone" on this site. The acid test of any teacher is how the students are progressing so check out the Student Showcase Convenient Let's be honest, sometimes getting to your guitar lesson is a pain. Carving the time out of your hectic schedule & those inevitable "competing priorities" can mean that you don't always make it. Thanks to the wonders of technology, you can now enjoy one to one lessons with your favourite tutor without leaving the house & without compromising the quality of teaching you receive. All you need is Skype, PayPal and the time to have your actual lesson. Learn the smart way and cut out the grind! |
Flexible Approach
A quick read through the testimonials & you'll realise that although the majority of students opt to follow the Rockschool syllabus, teaching is far from "off the peg". The syllabus is structured, but each student is different and a successful teacher finds the right way to enable a student to access the syllabus in their own way. Supported Learning Following a structured syllabus like Rockschool is great for both student & teacher alike. However, students often need additional study material, exercises and pointers. These things are all included in the cost of your lesson & you'll have access to my growing library of support material. Subscribe to the blog for useful articles and participate in the forums. |
